Meet Danielle Young

Licensed Professional Counselor

Being understood, being heard and validation of our experiences and feelings is something that we all strive for. I am a passionate counseling professional who offers compassionate and authentic psycho-therapeutic services in a safe, nurturing and collaborative environment. I find

great joy in working with adolescents and adults—backgrounds of diverse ethnicity, faith, and worldviews.

I offer individual, couples, family and group therapy that addresses needs in the areas of: adoption and attachment, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, conflict resolution, crisis-stabilization, depression, grief and loss issues, personal growth and PTSD. I am a trauma informed therapist with experience in affirmative therapy with transgender and gender non- conforming individuals.

I use an eclectic, integrative approach to therapy with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral, humanistic-existential and solution-focused methods to help you achieve more balance in your life. Regardless of my most often used theoretical approaches, I foster a collaborative, open, and empathic environment that draws upon your strengths thus allowing me to provide therapeutic services tailored to your individual needs.
