Meet Robert King

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Congratulations! The fact that you are reading this Bio demonstrates that you have the courage and strength to seek professional help to deal everyday life challenges.  More importantly, you didn’t let stigmas and misconceptions about therapy deter you from seeking assistance from outside your typical support network.  I believe the treatment process is to help you discover healthy ways to cope with and understand the stressors in your life that are weighing you down.  My goal is working with you is to help you realize the strength and power that you already possess and combine that with the skills learned in treatment to find the overall emotional balance you’re seeking.

No matter if you are an adult, a child or family, our work together to examine the connection between the root causes, triggers, and emotional-behavioral responses of those life challenges.   I have experience helping clients address depression, anxiety, anger, parent-child conflict, disease management, and school-behavioral issues.  My professional experience includes working with public mental health, child welfare system, and comorbid care.

Now that you have taken the first step, my aim is to support you throughout the treatment process.  I can provide you a safe space where your concerns will be address with care, confidentiality, and the utmost professionalism.

Together, we will develop goals to incrementally move you closer to having the tools you need to manage your concerns in a healthy way.
